What is the M.Ed. Special Education with an Emphasis in ASsistive Technology Program?
 

 

  • The Assistive Technology Program is designed to prepare teachers and other professionals to support students by using assistive technology.

  • Each candidate will take a series of courses developed to obtain the necessary hours required for a degree. Along with the degree, candidates will receive the skills needed to supervise individuals with special needs, their parents, teachers, professionals, and school districts seeking to introduce assistive technologies into multiple environments.

  • The College of Education and Human Development, BGSU has adopted four core values: inquiry; risk-taking; and collaboration and partnerships. Each of these core values is integrated within these core courses.Learn more about the special education courses.
