Admission Information
 

Admission into the Program:

  • Prospective students must submit a Graduate Application along with:
    • $30 non-refundable application fee per graduate application submitted
    • Two official transcripts from all institutions attended (Request for Transcripts form)
    • GRE general test/GMAT, or PRAXIS (Curriculum & Teaching only) scores
    • TOEFL scores are required from applicants whose native language is not English
    • Three letters of recommendation must be forwarded to the department to which admission is requested.

Graduate Certificate Application

  • Students must also submit a few samples of their writing and a statement of purpose to the Graduate English Office. Contact Mary Ann Sweeney masween@bgsu.edu for more information.

  • International students who apply to the program will do so according to the existing procedures for all international students who apply to BGSU as graduate students.The Center for International Programs is responsible for coordinating your admission and orientation. The staff at the Center for International Programs will be glad to assist you in any way.
