What is the Executive Master of Organization
Development (EMOD) Blended Program?
-
EMOD is a blended 18-month program in which instruction takes place online and in only three on-campus weekends per semester.
-
Although an undergraduate degree is required, it does not need to be a degree in business. Executive students with no previous coursework in business complete learning packages in business fundamentals by the end of their second semester in the program.
- Combination of course delivery via the
Internet as well as face to face contact
provides the best of both worlds: easy access
to course material and in person interaction
with faculty and classmates.
- Online communities provide greater student
and faculty contact throughout the program,
which provides opportunities to build stronger
relationships and networks.
Why a Master of Organization Development?
A MOD provides graduates with a solid foundation
in a variety of areas which provides them
with the tools to improve the performance
of individuals and organizations. These
competencies include:
- Change Leadership
- Organizational Structure and Design
- Human Resource Management
- Leadership Development
- Group Processes and Communication
- Team Building
- Conflict Management
- Emotional Intelligence
- Strategic Planning and Goal Setting
