What is the Executive MBA Program?

  • Bowling Green State University's Executive MBA Program is designed to meet the educational needs of experienced managers and future business leaders. This program allows the convenience and flexibility for professionals to earn an MBA while limiting interruptions to work and family responsibilities.

  • The EMBA program begins in September of each year and can be completed in as little as 18 months.

  • This is a Blended Program so students attend on campus classes one weekend per month.  Classes meet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm.

  • The cohort design is a significant benefit of this program where students enter the program, complete classes, and graduate as part of the same close-knit group. This design has proven to greatly increase student success and networking.

  • This accelerated program serves the region's most motivated and experienced managers who desire an opportunity to interact with other highly motivated and experienced professionals and a world-class faculty in an intensive learning environment. The course content is delivered from a managerial or strategic perspective and is largely discussion and case study based. The program features:

    • On-campus classes that meet only one weekend per month: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8am-5pm.
    • A 10-day International Study Abroad experience.
    • Distance learning technology that keeps students and faculty members connected throughout the program.
    • 11 business courses that provide a cross-functional business perspective.
    • A support staff whose goal is to ensure that your valuable time is devoted to your studies.
    • Class colleagues who have on average 15 years of professional work experience.
    • A curriculum designed for individuals with undergraduate degrees from practically any field.
    • No GMAT requirement for qualifying individuals.
